1.1 Information You Provide

• Video Content: When you use auto-subtitle, your video's audio is sent to our speech recognition service for transcription. Audio is processed in real time and not permanently stored.
• Subtitle Text: Subtitles you create or edit are stored locally on your device.
• Translation Data: When you translate subtitles, the text is sent to DeepL for processing.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device model, OS version, and a randomly generated device identifier for trial verification.
• Usage Analytics: Anonymous data such as feature usage and crash reports via Firebase Analytics.
• Purchase Information: Subscription status is managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not process payment information directly.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

• Name, email address, or phone number
• Photos or videos beyond the specific file you select
• Location data
• We do not create user accounts

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide Services: Process audio for transcription, translate text, render subtitles.
• Improve the App: Analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve features.
• Manage Subscriptions: Verify subscription status and generation limits.
• Prevent Abuse: Use device identifiers to prevent trial abuse.

3. How We Process Your Data

To provide AI transcription and translation features, your audio and text may be processed by secure third-party services. These services:

• Only receive the minimum data needed to perform their function
• Process data in real-time and do not store it permanently
• Do not have access to your videos or personal information

We also use industry-standard tools for analytics and crash reporting to improve the app, and subscription management is handled securely through Apple's App Store.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Projects and subtitles are stored locally on your device.
• Sensitive identifiers are stored in the iOS Keychain.
• Audio for transcription is processed in real time and not stored externally.
• All network communication uses HTTPS encryption.

5. Data Retention

• Local Data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
• Audio Data: Temporarily processed during transcription, then discarded.
• Analytics Data: Retained by Firebase per Google's retention policies.

6. Your Rights

• Delete your data: Remove all local data by deleting the app.
• Opt out of analytics: Limit ad tracking in iOS Settings.
• Access your data: Contact us to request information about any data we hold.

7. Children's Privacy

Coslo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
